Our mission is straightforward; to provide products and services that can mobilize existing content and, where possible, enhance it with new features. For example, a client came to us and wanted something special for their magazine, every year they select the best restaurants in the country and review them in their magazine. We sat down with them and used our large experience to help them see how that concept would look like on a mobile device. In this specific case, that lead to some exciting features, such as locating the users current position to show the restaurants near him/her, or the possibility to easily share the restaurants with friends. Today, CrystalMinds has produced successful mobile solution for many companies in a variety of business segments, such as for Talkies Magazine, Intermediair, NRC Next, Rank a Brand, yoMedia and B!Digital. We know what mobile users want, how to create the right means to connect with those users and help our customers with the further improvements in this new and challenging customer interaction channel. |
CrystalMinds specializes in the development of mobile and web applications. It was founded in June 2009 by Mark van Wijnen who’s fascination for mobile Internet solutions started way before that. He finished his Master of Arts and Technology degree with an emphasis in Game Design and Development in 2008. Where he wrote a master thesis about ‘Digital Augmentation of Traditional Board Games on a (Multi-) Touch Surface’. After he graduated Apple launched it’s compact mobile multi-touch device, the iPhone 2G. He has been developing applications for it ever since and even made it it’s core business.
